BRIDGE
The month of September may have been the most expansive month in
the existence of ‘Angel Valley Ranch’.
Returning
from my trip (it was wonderful, thank you!), Michael did not reveal
what had occurred in my absence until I actually saw it: the bridge
was gone. Why? What happened?
He showed me the photos that you see on this page: on 9-9 2003 a
concrete truck went through the bridge. Thank God, the driver was
not hurt, though shaken. Whatever made him enter that bridge with
his full load, whereas the sign says ‘3 ton limit’,
we will never know. A friend said: ‘He was wearing spiritual
blinders’. Because the tremendous gift of the event is, that
we will have a new bridge, strong enough to even handle a concrete
truck, paid by…. the concrete company. In the meantime we
have a period of some inconvenience, because we have to cross through
the water. But as long as there is no rain (this is not the rainy
season) we are OK.
For
us this is a monumental event. The bridge, our connection to the
outside world, is temporarily gone. But shortly we will be accessible
in a totally new way. This is a growing to a larger scale, an opening
up to the world more than ever before. As we feel it, it is both
an invitation and a confirmation from The
Universe that we are ready for the next step. The process that preceded
the incident was fascinating too, at least we choose to see that
there is a direct link. After I left Michael had decided to widen
the road and increase the parking space, not held back by any questioning
from my side. Overlooking the result he pondered how great it would
be to have a better bridge. The Universe had an answer.
Also
on other levels the theme ’bridge’ and ‘connection’
shifted. It had been very strongly one of my meditation points during
my trip: connecting with my daughter, with the group I traveled
with, connecting with the ancient culture of the Mayans and with
the Mayans of today, connectedness in numerous ways, eventually
with Spirit and with Self. Michael had worked on some deep stuff
too. Even in our personal relationship we felt like old bridges
were gone and new bridges were being built.
What
do we do with this opportunity? Are we ready to move on to the next
level? Are we willing to think and act bigger? What responsibility
are we willing to take? In what way do we embrace the magic of this
gift? How do we accept more profoundly our role of the creators
that we are?
One
of the answers came quickly: a request to host the Earth
Dance Ceremony on October 8th through the 11th, which may
attract hundreds of people. When the same people approached us last
year we were not ready yet. The synchronicity of all that had happened
made it very clear: Spirit wanted us to go for it. So right now
we are in the middle of all the preparation to make the event into
a wonderful and well-organized experience. As a result the area
where the ceremony will take place is going through a metamorphosis.
We are all very excited. To read more about this event click on
page 2 of this newsletter.
Before the bridge
situation the energy of the part of the land where the ceremony
will be held had already shifted. In August we prepared for a sweat
lodge that was erected. Ceremonies will be held there regularly.
In
the meantime we are working, designing and planning with the concrete
company, who is being most cooperative. They do the best they can
to help us minimize the inconvenience of this moment and to create
a final result that we will be pleased with. We feel that the Angels
are very active!!! For those who will be visiting before the new
bridge is in place, please, don’t worry! If you can’t
make it by yourself, we will help you get across.
And then, of
course, we are making headway with the Barn, our new meeting space,
which has to be completed by half October. The building is going
to be gorgeous!!
We hope that
you are building, strengthening and renewing the bridges and connections
in your own life!
Blessings,
Amayra Hamilton
Adam
Yellow Bird and
Earth Dance
The
concept of Earth Dance is one of an every day way
of being. It is a movement out of humanity’s pain and suffering
into an existence of joy and service. We do this by walking gently
on the Earth, living in the moment and having faith that Creator
will provide for us as we hold love and good intention in our hearts.
Adam Yellow Bird is a living example of this walk. His vision of
enlivening the spirit and soul in prayer, joyful dance and commitment
to finding harmony and peace here on Earth can be seen during Earth
Dance gatherings as well as in his daily life. He has gleaned
from diverse teachings throughout his life. His multi-cultural background
has rooted him in the knowledge
that we are all related and the acceptance of this by all people
in these times is imperative to the survival of humanity.
Bennie
LeBeau ~ Eastern Shoshone ~ Wind River Reservation said, “Earth
Dance is the star that symbolizes the sacredness of the crystal
clarity through the water and we are mostly water. It gives us crystal
clarity in our sacred walk, messages from the universe, creation
itself & the Creator. When we clear ourselves, we will be able
to receive messages. We are all connected as one and this
dance and others like it will connect the people, through the songs,
prayers and dance. It will bring together music and medicine that
will heal us. Earth Dance is laying the foundation for the new ways
that will incorporate the best of the old traditions and new visions.
These new ways will ultimately unite the people of the world.”

Adam
Yellow Bird’s
dream is to now bring forth the prophesies of the ancient ones together
with the wisdom of the children through the Earth Dance
Ceremony in addition to facilitating personal counseling,
healing and Vision Quests. He calls for people of all Nations and
colors to join together as we form a circle of elders, medicine
people, children, men and women to help bring equality and balance
within our world and desires to build a future for the children.
He asks for all of us to pray collectively for the highest good
of all and to clear the slate of what has been done before, to help
push away the dark, heal the wounds, and move inward to transform
humanity into a spiritual being.
Adam
has taken his message to Kauai, Hawaii, Uluru, Australia, Tecate,
Mexico, Europe as well as across the United States over the past
seven years.
The
Earth Dance Ceremony consists of a circle of committed
dancers who
are in prayer and dancing for four days and nights to help bring
harmony and balance while honoring the masculine-the sun, and the
feminine-the moon energies. There is also a community circle in
which day visitors can pray and dance in support of the committed
dancers and also to share and rejoice in their own unique ways.
Adam Yellow Bird extends an invitation out to any groups who want
to share their special dances in the community circle during the
main event. He also invites any elder, medicine person, spiritual
teacher to join the event by sharing their wisdom with the community.
“I
am thankful for the elders who have embraced this dance. I am thankful
for the children who bring their joy, curiosity and laughter to
the dance. I am thankful for the many insights and awareness gifted
to so many. I am thankful for this chance to come together…irrespective
of religious belief, culture, or ethnicity- in the Spirit of Love
and caring.” Greg Foisie- Lancaster, CA.
