A NEW PHASE

In our previous newsletter we shared how the sale of our Back O’ Beyond property occurred. We closed on July 18 and handed over the keys and the instructions on how to feed the fish. That property is no longer ours nor our concern. An interesting feeling! We feel so grateful for the completion of that part of our life. The two building projects that we were working on outside the ranch are completed. Now all attention is on the next development phase here.

At this moment Michael is making a trip, with the intent to prepare himself for what is coming next. He deserved a time-out. After he returns I will traveling with my daughter through Mexico and Guatemala for a few weeks. After that Lindy will be seeing her family up north.

What is the next phase? In the physical it means transforming the Barn into a beautiful yoga space and building a bathhouse for the tipis. This will happen at high speed, because we urgently need both spaces. These two projects seem small compared with what we are embarking upon for the west part of the property. As you may know we have decided to sell some lots. In the meantime we have committed to not just sell the lots, but to build structures on them. The hillside where the lots are located is a delicate place, that only wants structures that absolutely blend in and are 100% harmonious with the surroundings, including the view from the valley. Right now we are working with designers/architects to give all this form. A very exciting and creative process.

We make another evaluation: What about the master plan? How big do we want to grow? What does the land want? What do we really want? If we set a certain number as a maximum for guests, is that because we like to work with that amount or because we think we need that many people in order to make it all work? For who we are, a master plan has to be sketchy. A fine balance between clarity and allowing it to grow organically. What we do know is, that we want to honor the land and we want Angel Valley Ranch to succeed. We also know that all this is a game, a way to express ourselves, to learn and grow and a great way to have our earthly human experiences. That is what we are here for. Wonderful!

Ceremonial tipi

On July 25, the Day Out of Time, we had a beautiful channeling taking place. We have found that there is a Native American spirit who ‘lives’ here and wants to have his input on what we are doing. He says the tipi village is ‘his land’ and the Earth Sky Tipi, our impressive ceremonial tipi, is ‘his home’. He is quite a character and does not particularly like women…. His main message, however, is the importance of bringing the different cultures together in our attempt to create connection and harmony between mankind and the Universe.

Vortex Guides

We wish to share with you that we now have 6 vortex guides trained by our expert Jaap. Each will be developing her or his own style, but we are up for the many to come and have vortex experiences with us.

Organic Garden

A tremendous amount of love and enthusiasm is put into our garden. On the pictures of this newsletter edition you see pictures from our organic garden. The squashes and zucchinis are growing faster than we can eat. We are almost ready to eat our first huge water melon, the tomatoes are ripening and we can’t wait to eat our own corn. We do have to take measures to keep these big rabbits out. They have become so confident and happy, that they hardly run away anymore.

Love and Blessings in this very hot summer,

Amayra Hamilton

PS We proudly present our gardening team! John, Scott, Amy and Alan
